TORTRIX MOTHS AND OTHER SMALL MOTHS - Group #2
Four-dotted Agonopterix, found June 22, 2022 at my moth lights. Note the large dark X on the lower wings.
Tufted Apple Bud Moth. I have found several of these at my moth lights.
Another Tufted Apple Bud Moth. I see these moths every month from May through August, and I also have one late sighting on October 25th.



Gray Leafroller. This one was photographed at Hocking Hills, but I also find these moths at my home lights, in the month of April.
White-lined Leafroller. I have found a couple of these moths at Hocking Hills (eastern Ohio), in April and May.
This is a Goldenrod Leaffolder (Agonopterix pulvipennella), found at my moth lights on March 4, 2024. These moths overwinter as adults.
Another White-lined Leafroller at Hocking Hills. I have not yet seen this species at my home lights.
Red-banded Leafroller. I have seen several of these pretty moths at my lights from March through June.
Maple Twig Borer. These moths have subtle greenish highlights. I have found a few at my lights in April and May.
Broken-line Zomaria, found on May 12, 2023, at Hocking Hills. The beautiful colors remind me of an opal. I have not yet seen these moths at my home lights.
